Who I help
I’m a mum to 2 amazing young people (no longer little children!), a wife to a man who loves anything mechanical, a loyal friend and a flipping determined person in all aspects of life. In 2021 years ago I rode 77 miles around Norfolk! I’m also a VA who cares, who champions my clients and other small business and wants there to be more to life than just working. My Mum’s passing when she was just 44 years young and I was 19, had, and continues to have a profound effect on the way I live and look at life. With milestones that keep coming, I continue to evaluate my life and be grateful for what I have.
My life and work is based on my strong values. Family | Kindness | Being Conscientious | Determination | Integrity | Listening. You can work in any industry but to work together, we need to gel and have the same values. I know from experience it won’t work otherwise.
Why I started
I have a “lets-get-this-sh*t-done” attitude and pride myself of ‘thinking outside of the box’. I enjoying approaching problems or situations in a creative and unconventional way. It brings me joy to look beyond the usual solutions and consider new perspectives or ideas that might not be immediately obvious. My passion lies in providing solutions to your administrative challenges, creating capacity in your day to focus on what you truly want to be doing, and streamlining your business processes to help you regain that crucial work-life balance.
What makes me different
You might also like to know: I am the Chair of Buy Local Norfolk. A social enterprise whose purpose is to highlight the hugely important sustainability, diversity and community roles played by businesses that are proudly local and independent to Norfolk.
I am a Norfolk Ambassador championing Norfolk in conjunction with the Norfolk Business Board and I volunteer at The People’s Picnic in Norwich feeding the vulnerable and homeless of Norwich by providing 20 hot meals and desserts once a month and help with the running of the group.
Ideal Client
My ideal client is an established Norfolk business owner who has reached the point where doing everything themselves simply isn’t working anymore.
They’re capable and their business is growing, but too much of their valuable time is being swallowed up by admin, emails and the day to day organisation that keeps everything moving.
They value trust, kindness and good communication. They’re ready to delegate, want ongoing support and understand the value of getting their time and headspace back.
They’re not looking for the cheapest VA or someone to simply tick tasks off a list.
*They’re looking for Clair.* Someone who gets to know their business, notices things, remembers things, organises, chases and becomes their trusted right hand woman. Someone who can simply say, “Leave that with me.”
